Tze Peng in Paris
Published in 2006
Tze Peng in Paris commemorates the donation of 45 ink works by Cultural Medallion winner Lim Tze Peng to the NAFA Collection in 2006. Ms Bridget Tracy Tan, Director of Gallery & Theatre, talks to the humble and soft-spoken man - his inspirations and beliefs that underlie his practice and his passion as a painter to create art. In his own way, his work ethic lays the foundation of values that the next generation of artists will build upon.
This catalogue features the donated works depicting the picturesque Parisian street scenes and monuments such as the Eiffel Tower and Moulin Rouge, created during his stay at the Academy's artists' studio in Paris in the year 2000.
