The parallel lives of Sean Lee features two bodies of work by the photographer, "Method" and "Homework". The former project began in 2007, during his visit for the Angkor Photography Festival. Drawn by the many ladyboys in Cambodia, Sean began an autobiographical fantasy of his alter ego, Shauna, and the confrontation between his self and other self. "Homework" represents a psychoanalysis within his own family, where the association of text and image tackle complex family relationships and emotions.

Sean Lee's journey continues with a visit to Cognac France, as the winner of ICON de Martell Cordon Bleu Prize 2011. A set of 21 postcards entitled "Postcards from Chanteloup", is included with the book; a series of photographs reflecting the artist's thoughts and emotions during his visit to Cognac, France.
