The keynote essay in the book by Dr Bridget Tracy Tan introduces Anagard's unique artistic style, characterised by bold colors, intricate patterns, and symbolic imagery drawn from his roots and his experiences, explore deeper meanings and his commitment to using his art to address pressing social issues.
The book also features Anagard's collaboration with artists from Singapore and Yogyakarta, including NAFA alumna printmaker Cathrine Oslo, prop-making collective 556 Industries, 11 Indonesian artists who collaborated with him through video, digital and street art, showcases his ability to blend his artistic styles and techniques across diverse medium, while still maintaining his signature message of hope and understanding.
