Ho Ho Ying - Present is a compilation of the artist’s oevure through the years as an artist that commemorates his conferment of the Cultural Medallion Award in 2012. A pioneer of modern art in Singapore and the region, Ho is also a scholar of Chinese language and literature, and critical writer who has been published in newspapers and journals on the topic of art and culture. Known for his innovative abstract works and creative calligraphy, this book presents milestones and transformational periods of the artist from the 1950s to 2011 featuring a selection of over 80 works including early sketches and works in oil, acrylic and Chinese ink.

The book also includes an interview with the artist and an essay discussing the life and art of Ho by Ms Bridget Tracy Tan, Director of the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts and Art Galleries, NAFA.
